Why More 4x4 Owners Are Choosing PortableDual-Battery Systems

If you’re considering a dual-battery system for your 4×4, camper or off-road trailer, one of the first decisions you’ll need to make is whether apermanently installed system or a portable battery box is the bettersolution.
For many 4×4 owners – particularly those fitting out a new vehicle – aportable system is often the preferred choice, and for good reason.
Unlike permanently hardwired systems, portable battery boxes require nodrilling, no permanent vehicle modifications and no complicated electricalinstallations. They can be installed, removed or transferred betweenvehicles with ease, making them ideal for anyone who regularly changesvehicles, owns a new car and is cautious about the manufacturer’swarranty, or simply wants a flexible power solution.
